True Fans
Posted in Uncategorized by splashofgas on February 25th, 2007 I have been putting a lot of thought into what makes a real Nascar fan. Here are some of my personal thoughts.
- If you treat the super bowl like the second best sports event in February. daytonna
- If you consider the months between nov and feb a bad time of year
- If you follow your drivers with near god like devotion
- If you have your drivers number on your car or truck house ,camper or flag pole in your front yard.
- If all your family vacations are plan around race dates.
- If you named your first born after your favorite driver
- If you believe that the world stop briefly February 18, 2001 If have to explain you don’t belong on this list….God Rest His Soul.
- If you don’t just watch the first 10 and last 10 laps….
- If Bristol, Daytonna ,Darlington,Talladega are places that you hold in high regard and if you have been there you want to go back and if you haven’t its one of your goals.
These are some of the things that make real Nascar fans. Its the people that save there hard earned money every year to take the family to there favorite track to see there favorite driver. decked out in there gear from head to toe. That’s what makes a Real fan……Here’s to a Great 2007 Season
